Raw Materials
	We are the first Canadian company to use such a technology in the production of our high density Ecolution logs. These logs are entirely made of 100% certified top quality hardwood residue with no additives whatsoever.
Manufacturing Process
	We possess a factory in Granby Quebec, complete with ultra modern technology to produce our logs. Here's a brief outline of the manufacturing process. Once the raw material is brought to the factory, it must be standardized in terms of size. Next it undergoes a rigorous cleaning to eliminate all residue and pollen. Next the 100% hardwood sawdust is heated to a temperature of 400 degrees farenheit (205 degrees celcius). This temperature allows the wood to expel its natural resine, which will hold the particles together.
	So no additional glue, wax or parrafin is used - only natural agents found in the wood. Now the sawdust is compressed in a mould under 20,000 psi to take on it cylindrical form. Each logs is then sent to the packing room.
Results
	A log with standardized characteristics in size, heat-generating power and ash production rate. Each log weighs well over three pounds (1.4 kg). Compared to a traditional log, it is so dense that it will not float. A denser log produces more heat, burns longer, creates less humidity and burns cleaner. It provides all the advantages of wood heating without many of the inconveniences. Beneficial to the environment, it consumes residual material, no tree has been cut, produces less ash and very few harmful pollutants.
	From now on it is possible to heat while respecting the environment, maintaining maximum comfort and optimal heat.
Residential Market
	This year the logs come in 12 per box.. This packaging is destined for the residential market only. The logs are packaged in a plain box with no colour advertising.
	It is sold by the skid which consists of 60 boxes of 12 logs and firestarters (can be equivalent to 7 cords of traditional wood in heat value.)
	It is sold by the 1/2 skid which consists of 30 boxes of 12 logs and firestarters (can be equivalent to 3.5 cords of traditional wood in heat value). N.B. Small and larger quantities are available - see price list for information.
Commercial Market
	Destined for department as well as corner store markets. Comes in an attractively coloured boxes of six logs and two matchsticks. Also comes with a promotional support pamphlet, poster, etc.

The purpose of a stove or fireplace is to provide warmth, comfort and atmosphere. the trick is to get those desired effects without the 'undesirables'. To heat with wood is, however, still considered a difficult and demanding task. In fact, this is a time of revolution with the expansion of our company and our products.

Certification

Each box for our commercial market has the certified Ecologo by Environment Canada because the logs are entirely made of 100% dry hardwood residue without any additives whatsoever. We are the FIRST Canadian company to be certified ecologo for its manufactured log.
