How to light our wood

To build an efficient heat producing fire, all you have to do is place 2 logs parallel. You can now place the fire starter in the middle or place 2 smaller fire starters at each end.

Now light the fire starter then place one more log on top at a 22° on the other two logs. There you go, your fire is burning and ready to be enjoyed.

It will probably take 20 or 30 minutes to fully ignite the 3 or 4 logs. Then add more logs as needed.

For Cooking - BBQ

All you have to do is split small piece then light with the fire starter and you are ready to cook!

To optimize the use of ECOLUTION® Logs, here are a few tips. These tips will help you make the most of your logs' heating capacity and will help them burn longer.

1. Always light ECOLUTION® Logs at one extremity, draft open to its maximum.
2. After a few minutes, close draft half-way.
3. Once the blaze has fully taken, adjust draft to its minimum.
4. Do not interfere with a poker, the logs must burn by themselves.
5. NDo not overload your fireplace, 2 to 3 logs will suffice to ignite the fire then add one log at a time as they burn away.

Ecolution® logs, , much dryer than traditional wood (between 6-8% humidity) and much more compressed, result in a superior heating capacity. This is why its combustion tends to release much more heat.

To prolong the length of the combustion, here are a few tricks: the main idea is to limit to its maximum the inflow of air in function with your fireplace :

*Always leave the ashes in your ash box of your fireplace (these ashes play an important role in the regulation of the combustion and help block the inflow of air from the ash box)

*Check the hinges of your fireplace doors to limit inflow of air in the fireplace.
